Concealed Carry in National Parks

In one of the last acts of the last administration, President Bush signed a law overturning the lengthy prohibition on carrying a loaded weapon in National Parks. For as long as I can remember, people have not been allowed to carry loaded guns on their person in National Parks-any guns had to be locked in the trunk of the vehicle and left unloaded. Of course the NRA and gun nuts are going crazy at the latest federal court ruling suspending Bush’s regulation, crying over their right to pack heat when they’re out birdwatching when in all actuality the ruling just restores the regulation that has been in place for the last 40 years.
