Congress Stalls Again
Frank Rich discusses the failure of Congress to address any major national issues over the last forty years. It’s reminiscent of the first 200 pages of “Master of the Senate” in which Robert Caro gives a history of the rise and fall of the power of the Senate. Rich is right on in recognizing that we’re in need of some LBJ style leadership on the Hill, not the festering puddle that is Harry Reid.
